I have been here multiple times in the 3 decades. The food has always been great. I decided to go there today. My last visit was 7 years ago. I got chicken fried steak with eggs and hash browns and a side of corned beef hash. All the food was great, except the chicken fried steak which was way over cooked and not very tasty. Everything else was superb. The service was fantastic and she was very attentive to what I needed. I will come back, but just not order this again.

A classic Cafe right on Main St.Hopland, that will take your breath away as you enter through their door. It feels as if you've walked into a movie set. It just feels so authentic . We sat at the bar on those wonderful stools, and really enjoyed our conversation with our server behind it. We learned so much about the town and reminiscing about the 70's was fun. The portions are huge, the price point spot on, the flavors pop from the freshness, and my chocolate shake was prepared right in front of me. I felt 16 again. What a treat! Worth the drive, and if you're passing through Hopland, save yourself some room for a killer meal here! Highly recommend!

Awesome little diner right on the 101, the parking was easy on the street, the food was really good! Really nice people working there and the ambiance is great, I love stopping in places like this, a throwback to older style cafes without the pretentious hipster vibe. Apple walnut chicken salad was delicious!

I hadn’t been here in almost 20 years. I remember coming here as a young kid with my dad. It was good then and good now. The French toast was perfect. We were decently the travelers in there but still a warm welcome.

The Bluebird Cafe is located along Hwy 101 in Hopland, California on the right side of the road as you are traveling South. You will need to U-Turn if you are traveling North to park along the street in front of the restaurant or park on the opposite and walk across the busy Hwy. Excellent burger and fries made to order. Soft drinks were good. Lemonade not so good. I suspect I am the only who has ordered it in a while. The waitress was nice and attentive. The building is old, so finding the restroom can be tricky. The restaurant has a hometown vibe. If I were to pass through town again I would back into the Bluebird Cafe.

Delicious and satisfying classic American diner breakfasts and lunches with a broad range of breads and ‘hamburger’ patties made to order. Fun decor! Excellent service.

Hopland is a small, rural community. A cafe like the Bluebird is important here. Easy going. Feels comfortable. Welcoming. And, good food. You can still see the cooks. We came for breakfast. The dining room is small (max seating is 47). The menu met every need and want. Portions were large and quality was excellent. We were even served complimentary scones and cinnamon rolls. We felt right at home.
